Speaking of potato pizza, have you tried the one at Myke’s in Mesa Dom? It’s quite good.

I was just talking with my husband about missing OG Pa'la something fierce... looks like a trek over to Gilbert is in our future...
100% agree about the stupidity in peoples' pricing perception. I swear I read/heard the same issues being said about 24th St. Pa'la with the plates and cutlery. The food was incredible! Who cared what it was served on?!

I was finally in that part of town for lunch the other day. The red lentil croqueta sandwich was as delicious as everyone has said! The accompanying side salad was very nice too. I wish it was closer to home; I'd happily eat that on a regular basis. My only problem with it was that it was too much food for me to eat in one sitting and it was a situation where I couldn't take leftovers, so I sadly ended up leaving some of the bread/slaw from the second half (I ate the croqueta, though). I thought it was very decently priced, all things considered.
I also got a chocolate chip cookie (which was a leftover I COULD manage). Pretty good, tons of chocolate chips, nicely soft and chewy with a little crisp to the edge (buuuuuut not as good as the ones I make -- I've gotten spoiled because mine have cinnamon in them and now plain choc. chip cookies always seem a little lacking, ha).
