FnB - The Local Terroir

Post by davegorton54 » Tue May 12, 2015 8:08 pm

Here's the Main Thread for FnB.

If I could only go to one restaurant in Phoenix, I would pick FnB. One of the hallmarks of this cozy little gin joint is that everything is always perfectly prepared: veggies picked and prepared with a careful respect for the ingredients, proteins property cooked with the right condiment. I'd happily eat anything that Charleen put in front of me but some of the highlights from the past year include:

Roasted Chicken with Spaetzle
Fish Sauce Cauliflower and/or Brussels (I'm always so tickled when I walk in and see the Fish Sauce Brussels)
Kale Falafel
Peruvian Chicken Egg Rolls
Skirt Steak with Corn Relish

I've spent a good amount of time at FnB over the past year and it is predominately due to the feeling of community immediately evident once I walk through the door. The joy of providing top notch food and beverage is so evident from Pavle and the staff. Based upon a number of fantastic meals, superb service, and the dedication to community, I wholeheartedly endorse the renewal of FNA for FnB in 2015!

As I just finished snacking on Charleen's pate with pickled veg, I heartily second this renewal. A no-brainer, IMO.

I do not make it here as much as I used to. I wish I did as this is one of my most favorite places. Great choice.

When someone asks me what my favorite restaurant in AZ is, FNB is my first answer. No hesitation. Always FNA!

Another 30-40 years and they should be able to completely cover the front door with the stickers.

But three is a good start. Can't imagine an FNA list with FnB.

FnB forever! My favorite pastime is spending a lazy Sun afternoon enjoying Sunday love. My second favorite pastime is hanging out at FnB for dinner during the week. My third favorite is bringing out of town guests to FnB for any meal. FnB is the epitome of FNA.
