Ficelle in Phoenix?
Ficelle in Phoenix?
Is there anywhere in town I could get ficelle? I want to make a Parisian boulangerie style pate sandwich with some leftover pate grandmere I made. Ideally these are done with ficelle. Baguette would work but it’s really too big. I know they go stale in about 2 seconds so most places don’t make them.
Re: Ficelle in Phoenix?
Trader Joe's sell frozen six packs of mini baguettes that have the same narrow diameter as ficelle.

I wish I could refer you to a local bakery that sells fresh ones made on the premises, but the TJ's product has been pretty good in my experience and might be worth considering as an alternative.

Thanks, I'll give them a try.
