So I don't have to do this by hand: http://www.phxfoodnerds.com/viewtopic.p ... t=40#p3466

Never seen it and having a hard time imagining how it might work, but I'll look into it :-)

The feature exists on SkyScraperPage Forum, an urbanist discussion group I'm sometimes active in. Under each post, next to the regular quote button is another button for multi-quoting. When reading a thread, a user can click multi-quote on each post he or she would like to respond to, accumulating posts along the way for one consolidated reply. Once done selecting all the posts, click "reply" and a window opens up with the quoted text from multiple posts already there.

That wouldn't break a single post into multiple quotes, however, correct? I think that's what sinosoul is talking about.

In any case, I'll dig through the mod database and see what I can find. Work's a little busy this week, but I'll get to it.

Here's an example of a post I made on another board using the multi-quote capability:

Yes, you can haz. 🙌

I realize this is an ancient request, but an extension to add this functionality exists now and has been added. You can select text and quote that, or select multiple items to quote now.
