Just finished up a bottle of good olive oil I brought back from an overseas trip and am looking for recommendations on what you all like for a good olive oil for salad dressings and the like. I have been partial to the olive mill in the past but wanted some other options.

Thx much.

Interestingly, a foodie friend just yesterday was raving about what I think she said was Verde Valley Olive Oil, up in Cottonwood. Must investigate and check it out. She was specifically talking about a butter-flavored olive oil, which sounds a little odd but interesting...

I have had it, heck we might even have a bottle laying around. It is pretty excellent. Pretty handle for popcorn and other things you want a subtle buttery flavor in.

I try various artisan olive oils, and I keep coming back to Trader Joe's California Estate olive oil. It's fabulous stuff, and the price can't be beat.
