I'm a lurker. I don't post like Zach (Lunchbox) does but I check the site daily. I didn't understand the rules until he explained them to me this morning and I'm happy I get to nominate some restaurants!

I don't know what they're calling it this week but Pizzeria Bianco/Italian Restaurant/Tratorria Bianco in Town and Country shopping center is always amazing. I had the Rosa pizza for the first time and it was fabulous! The very best thing we ate this year were two different market salads from Chef John Hall (he's a friend of ours). One of which was pears with herbs, preserved lemon, olive oil, and Parmesan. Another one was peaches, marcona almonds, goat cheese, and an herb vinaigrette. He nails the flavors!

I'm happy to nominate Pizzeria Bianco for FNA.

WTG Lynnie! Great first post! For the record - we were not in cahoots on this other than me asking her what restaurant she was going to nominate...

This is obviously a total +1 for me... And now that Chris is back at the oven, this is even more FNA worthy!

I think the pears with herbs, preserved lemon, olive oil, and Parmesan was the single best dish I ate last year.

For the record I think it's just "Pizzeria Bianco".

Drat another one I was going to do, stolen! Good pick. My wife and I really like grabbing lunch at this location, it is convenient and we can get a pizza and an appetizer be fairly full and have a bit left over for about 30 bucks. That is pretty decent for food this good.

Really happy to have this place so very close and with the no insane waiting thing you can just breeze by and pop in and eat.

Horray!

Yay, Lynn! Way to un-lurk!! :D

First of all, I can't believe this place didn't already have an FNA from last year...criminal!

I had that Rosa pizza for the first time this past year and was blown away by how simple yet delicious it was. Love the location/space, and enjoyed everything I tried...just would like to go again (soon) and try more! I am REALLY glad this location has pasta and other things besides just pizza, too.

I certainly support this nomination.

Hey, all... I think we need to get some thoughts on how to handle the multiple location question. Discussion here.

Pizzeria Bianco (Town & Country Location) has been named to the 2014 Food Nerd Approved list.

There is also a Pizzeria Bianco location in downtown Phoenix, discussed in this thread.
