Re: Noble Eatery

I was back here for the first time in quite a while this week ( changed jobs and am no longer very close) and it was as good as ever. The menu is continuing to evolve with more hot foods. I got the ubiquitous seared ahi salad yet this was probably one of the best versions I have ever had. Nothing re...

Re: Upcoming Vegas Trip - Aria restaurants, Raku...

I think you'll really enjoy Scarpetta. Try to get a table with a view of the Bellagio fountains. We had brunch at the new brassiere in the Aria and it was quite good. I imagine dinner would be good as well. Also really liked Yardbird in the Venetian.

Re: 2015 Dining Goals/Resolutions

Really appreciate the thread as it gives me a place to refer back to when I inevitably ask "where should we eat tonight". For now my list is as follows: Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House Forno 301 Oasis Bakery & Cuisine The new Tunisian place next to Al Zahour Couscous Express Kai Atlas Bistro (this ...

Re: Upcoming Vegas Trip - Aria restaurants, Raku...

Thanks. That is what I was afraid of. I will go somewhere else. I think I am alone in this opinion but I didn't love Tableau. I really did enjoy Mozen though. Also thinking about Yardbird. And need to squeeze in Arepas. Too much to eat and not enough time.

Re: Upcoming Vegas Trip - Aria restaurants, Raku...

Anyone have any recent experiences with Bouchon? We go every time we are in Vegas but recent reports on Chowhound suggests it may slipped lately. That plus a $50 credit at the Aria is leading me to consider the new Brasserie in the Aria for brunch. Also have a meal at Chada Thai booked replacing the...

Mexican for out of town guests

Where would you all take out of town guests who otherwise have little access to good Mexican? I am leaning heavily to Otro, which we love, but just wondering if there is somewhere else I'm forgetting. Also considering Los Dos and Carolinas.

Thanks much.

Re: Okra

Just want to echo the praise for this place so far. Went here last night and for a restaurant that has only been officially open for such a short time they are really firing in all cylinders. Most importantly the food was fantastic. Took the whole family and everyone was thrilled. Kids has the chees...

Re: Phoenix Ice Cream Shops

I'm a big fan of Churn. I really enjoy their Ice Cream Sandwiches. We are there almost weekly during the summer. If soft-serve is your thing I also really like Shakes and Cones in Old Town Scottsdale next to Bootleggers. Pretty basic menu (and only two flavors) but I think they are elevating ice cre...

I second this. There are a lot of Indian restaurants in town but not many are this good. The wonderful food plus the warm service makes this a good FNA choice.

While I think Noble Bread is some of the best bread in town I don't think it's going to scratch your itch for a San Francisco style sourdough.

This is an easy one. These guys are nailing it in every way. Everything I have had there has been absolutely delightful and the care they take with all their food just comes through. One of my favorite new places of the last year.
