I'm of two minds. On the one hand I prefer to see smaller producers do well and generally patronize those. On the other hand large megacorps getting into these products simply validates and enlarges the market and so the smaller products benefit alongside the large corporations.

Yep. They also have a sicilian that is quite good and the wings aren't half-bad either. It's on the corner of Glendale and 12th Street in the Circle K plaza. Let me know what you think.

For that kind of pizza I don't think you can beat Bianco but for a neighborhood take-out stand-by we have been eating at Pat's Pizza Plus on Glendale for ten years. For straight ahead NY style pizza I think its among the best in town.

Friday was Americanized Chinese food at China Village on Indian School. For what it is, it's pretty good. Got a kung pao fish with nice big pieces of some kind of meaty white fish. Flavors were quite good. Also got noodles and mu shu for the kids as well as a Ma Po Tofu. Nothing unexpected or fancy ...
