I Like The Lola, general American, and Bodega ( Cuban). There's also a State 48 Brewery with food, and Bar Louie, a chain with decent food. If you want Mexican, Salt Tacos is supposed to be good, and there's also Sugar Factory.

Torchy's Tacos has a couple of locations. Julio G's used to be really good, but I have not been since they relocated to North Phoenix. Also maybe try Richardson's. There have never been a lot of great choices, honestly.

former Mesaite here. I liked George's Gyros in mesa, Med Fresh grill and haji Baba in Tempe, along with Flaming Kabob in Mesa.

It's too bad about Binkley's closing, but I'm really excited for The Larder and the Delta to come back.
