Food Nerds.
Finally getting gas retrofitted to the house. Replacing the electric cooktop and need help on selecting a gas top. Never in all my years have I had a home with gas or the ability to select what I wanted. I can tell you it has to be 36". Number of burners? BTUs? Sealed? Unsealed? Other features? This? http://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadi ... 66BSS.html
¡Salud!

I would say six burners...but beyond that I'm clueless! Good luck!

Having 2 larger burners out of the 6 would be really nice.

I love my Blue Star! I only have 4 burners, but you can customize it like crazy. If you like wok cooking, the inner ring comes out and the wok sits right on the flame. I don't think I use the high BTU's to their full capacity, but I can say cooking on other gas stoves seem slow...
